Re: Daily Check-In... Keep on Top
06-22-09
Just making my daily check-in from Federal Way WA. USA...I have only three updates planned for my website today...the first is an update to my Cessna 182 R/C airplane's web page stating that I had a number of flights with limited success (due mainly because the baseball park was simply too small) - including a video, a screen dump from the video, and a photograph of the park I attempted the flights in; the last two are updates to my Air Kite Glider's web page stating that I'm attempting to repair it with that "Mighty Puddy" you may have seen advertised on television in the United States. Yes, ONCE AGAIN!!!, I'll dispense with the "{vulgar slang term for male ding-a-ling; six letters, rhymes with 'wrecker' (P3[K3R)} stuck in the {vulgar slang term for walltoliet; six letters, rhymes with 'misser' (P!$$3R)}" text this morning. ![]() ![]() This is a screen dump (yes, that's really what it's called) from the video of the Cessna 182 R/C airplane showing it just after takeoff. My weblog (or "blog" if you prefer) requires no updates as of this posting. I have no outside trips planned for today...actually, I *MIGHT* go to the nearby baseball field and attempt to fly my Air Kite Glider - weather permitting of course.

Just making my daily check-in from Federal Way WA. USA...I have six updates planned for my website today...the first four concern my having performed spectroscopy (pronounced "sp...O WAIT!!! THAT'S A RATHER SEVERE NO-NO ON THIS BBS!!! of the fluoresence of the wings & tail of the Air Kite Glider when irradiated with a high-powered violet laser, the fifth is an update to my "Where to Buy..." web page to add an entry for OttLite, and the sixth is an update to my Air Kite Glider's web page stating that I had limited success in flying it and provided a video clip of the only flight attempt that got "caught on tape" as it were. The spectra were published on my website and posted on two other BBSs; the laser responsible for causing the fluorescence in the Air Kite Glider had its post updated on the same two BBSs to add those spectra. ![]() This is the Air Kite Glider. ![]() This is a spectrum of fluorescence in its green tail. ![]() This is a spectrum of fluorescence in its orange wings. ![]() And this is where the Air Kite Glider *REALLY* belongs. My weblog (or "blog" if you prefer) requires no updates as of this posting. I have no outside trips planned for today.

Just making my daily check-in from Federal Way WA. USA...I have only four updates planned for my website today...the first two are updates to my Air Hogs Dominator R/C Aircraft and P-38 Park Flyer R/C Airplane web pages stating that I took them out for flights (because I had such "craptastic" flights of the Air Kite Glider on 06-22-09 - on just the fifth flight attempt, it crashed nose-first and the "neck" became busted ), the third is spectroscopy of an unknown-type 10mm orange LED, and the last is a minor update to my SunLight SL-2 Solar-Recharged Flashlight/Room Light's web page to indicate that its price has been temporarily reduced. The spectrum was published on my website and posted on two other BBSs. I also posted the link to a "new" evaluation of the Air Kite Glider on the same two BBSs because until just a couple of days ago, I did not have the "How to Use" and "Feeding Time" sections filled out. ONCE AGAIN!!!, I'll dispense with the "{vulgar slang term for male ding-a-ling; six letters, rhymes with 'wrecker' (P3[K3R)} stuck in the {vulgar slang term for walltoliet; six letters, rhymes with 'misser' {somebody in archery who misses the bullseye on a regular basis (P!$$3R)} text this morning. ![]() ![]() This is what the Air Hogs Dominator R/C Aircraft looks like. ![]() And this is what the P-38 Park Flyer R/C Airplane looks like. I refilled my sister's and my "dope containers" with a week's worth of vitamins and "dope" before going to bed last night. My weblog (or "blog" if you prefer) requires no updates as of this posting. I have no outside trips planned for today.

Just making my daily check-in from Federal Way WA. USA...I have only three updates planned for my website today...the first is an update to my Flightmaster ROG R/C Airplane's web page stating that I have repaired the wings that I had accidentally run over on the 18th of this month, the second is a minor expansion to the "Star" rating system used on my website to add an icon for "4.950 Stars" - an almost perfect score. I've had several products over the years that would receive this rating, so I added it instead of fudging something with the existing "Star" rating icons; and the third is a same-day update to my Flightmaster ROG R/C Airplane's web page stating that I made the test flight anyway - and I furnished a video of it. ![]() ![]() This is what the repaired wings for the Flightmaster ROG R/C Airplane look like. ![]() And this is the "4.950 Stars" rating icon. My weblog (or "blog" if you prefer) requires no updates as of this posting. I have no outside trips planned for today. I was going to fly my Flightmaster ROG R/C Airplane late yesterday morning to test the repairs, but we had one of our kitty cats (Puffin) euthanised yesterday. ![]() Actually, I made that flight after all. ![]() This is what Puffin looked like.

Just making my daily check-in from Federal Way WA. USA...I have only two updates planned for my website today...the first is an update to my X-Twin R/C Airplane's web page stating that I took it for an impromptu (unscheduled) flight to adjust the trim, and the second is an update to my Flightmaster ROG R/C Airplane's web page stating that I have found landing gear that fit (the original front wheel fell off the fuselage {this word is definitely *NOT* pronounced "fyoo SELL' uh jee" as Drake Parker from the TV program "Drake and Josh" would pronounce it } on the way home from my flights on the 24th of this month) and that I'm re-repairing the main wing with toothpicks to make it more structurally sound.ONCE AGAIN!!!, I'll dispense with the "{vulgar slang term for male ding-a-ling; six letters, rhymes with 'wrecker' (P3[K3R)} stuck in the {vulgar slang term for walltoliet; six letters, rhymes with 'misser' {somebody in archery who misses the bullseye on a regular basis (P!$$3R)} text this morning. ![]() ![]() This is what the mismatched front landing gear on that Flightmaster ROG R/C Airplane looks like. ![]() And this is what the X-Twin R/C Airplane looks like. My weblog (or "blog" if you prefer) requires no updates as of this posting. I have no outside trips planned for today. I went to Right-Aid yesterday to pick up two bottles of "dope"; there was a third but I had to leave it behind because my insurance company dropped the drug off their formulary and I could not afford the $44 and change I would have otherwise been charged for it. ![]()

Just making my daily check-in from Federal Way WA. USA...I have only two updates planned for my website today...the first is a new evaluation of the RiteLite Wireless LED Undercabinet Light, and the second is spectroscopy of its LEDs. The spectrum and beam cross-sectional analyses were published on my website and posted on two other BBSs. ONCE AGAIN!!!, I'll dispense with the "{vulgar slang term for male ding-a-ling; six letters, rhymes with 'wrecker' (P3[K3R)} stuck in the {vulgar slang term for walltoliet; seven letters, sort of rhymes with 'dishpan' (P!$$[4N)} text this morning. ![]() ![]() This is what the RiteLite Wireless LED Undercabinet Light looks like. My weblog (or "blog" if you prefer) requires no updates as of this posting. I have no outside trips planned for today....scratch that...actually, I might go to the baseball fields late this morning and test another repair I made on my Flightmaster ROG R/C Airplane.

Gay Pride Day Seattle (06-28-09)
Just making my daily check-in from Federal Way WA. USA...I have four updates planned for my website today...the first is a new evaluation of the Dorcy L.E.D. (flashlight), the second is spectroscopy of its LEDs, the third is an update to my Flightmaster ROG R/C Airplane's web page stating that I had an unsuccessful flight attempt , and the last is a minor update to my P-38 Lightning R/C airplane's web page stating that I brought it along with my Flightmaster ROG just to be certain that I'd have something in the air.The spectrum and beam cross-sectional analysis were published on my website and posted on two other BBSs. ![]() This is what the Dorcy L.E.D. looks like. My weblog (or "blog" if you prefer) requires no updates as of this posting. I *MAY*go to the baseball fields again today for (yet another) post-repair flight atttempt of my Flightmaster ROG R/C airplane - I switched landing gear to ones that may allow it to lift off. I say "*MAY*" here because if it rains, I'll postphone the flight attempt until tomorrow or the next day.

Just making my daily check-in from Federal Way WA. USA...I have four updates planned for my website today...the first is an update to my Flightmaster ROG R/C Airplane's web page stating that I had an unsuccessful flight attempt , the second is a minor update to my Transformers Starscream Flyer R/C Airplane's web page stating that I brought it along with my Flightmaster ROG just to be certain that I'd have something in the air, the third is an update to my "Moving" web page stating that I've been asked to pare down my belongings yet some more prior to our move in February 2010, and the fourth is spectroscopy of the fluorescence of a uranated* glass marble when irradiated with a newer ultraviolet LED.The spectrum was published on my website and posted on two other BBSs. ![]() This is a screen dump of one of the videos I made of the Flightmaster ROG R/C Airplane's brief flights. ![]() And these are uranated* glass marbles. I used the one on the far right in this photograph. My weblog (or "blog" if you prefer) requires the same update as appears on my "Moving" web page. I have no outside trips planned for today...actually, scratch that. I may take my trusty P-38 Lightning R/C airplane out for a little junket late this morning, and we're going out for dinner tonight because it's my stepmother's birthday. ![]() *"Uranated" - infused with an oxide of uranium, *NOT* piddled on. ![]() Commonly referred to as "Vaseline glass" because it has a distinct pale yellow-green color when not being irradiated. Note spelling: "urAnated", not "urEnated","urInated", "urOnated", "urUnated", or sometimes "urYnated".

Just making my daily check-in from Federal Way WA. USA...I have only three updates planned for my website today...the first two are minor updates to my P-38 Lightning R/C airplane's and Flytech Dragonfly's web pages stating that I flew them just for the H-E-Double-Bendy-Straws of it, and the second is spectroscopy of the fluorescence of a bottle of green glow powder when irradiated with a newer ultraviolet LED. The spectrum was published on my website and posted on two other BBSs. ![]() This is the glow powder. ![]() And this is the spectrum it created. My weblog (or "blog" if you prefer) requires no updates as of this posting. I have a trip planned to the Right Aid pharmacy to pick up a bottle or two of "dope".

Just making my daily check-in from Federal Way WA. USA...I have only a single update planned for my website today...it is spectroscopy of the fluorescence of a Patrick Star plush (stuffed critter) when irradiated with a newer ultraviolet LED. The spectrum was published on my website and posted on two other BBSs. ![]() This is the Patrick Star plush. My weblog (or "blog" if you prefer) requires no updates as of this posting. I have a trip planned to the baseball parks to fly another one of my R/C airplanes later this morning. I may *OR* may not make this trip, but it's "pencilled in" anyway. ![]()
